After getting it home i realized that it could really use a light.

I would like to add a light ot my sears snowblower it is a two stage with the electric start that you use from an outlet i was wondering if it can be done how to do it and what is the best light to use. I just bought a craftsman 26 208cc snow blower item 88970. I was thinking of getting 2 18 watt led flood lights and installing a 12 volt battery. Unfortunately my model doesn t have an auxiliary accessory wire like the almost identical craftsman snow blower item 88691.

Does this require adding an alternator. Plus you then have light for rummaging thru your truck at 2am. I bought a cheap twin pack for 20 bucks. I don t know much.
